Membership at American Legion Post 24 Is Open to Veterans, Families, and Community Supporters
Whether you’re a U.S. Armed Forces veteran, the family member of someone who served, or a proud supporter of those who wear the uniform, Post 24 welcomes you. Join a community rooted in service, patriotism, and connection—right here in McPherson. Membership is required for most events; however, we can qualify nearly everyone with the recent changes to the charter.

Post #24 is the “anchor” on Main Street, and we continue to upgrade our facility. We’re more than a veteran’s organization—we’re a community of service. Founded by and for those who served in the U.S.Armed Forces, our mission is to support veterans and their families, promote patriotism, and give back to the McPherson community.

Family Night

Open to the public. Proceeds support a local non-profit.

Legion members and guests gather in the Lounge to unleash their inner rockstars. Great music, cold drinks, and fun for all. No cover charge.
Sunday Bingo
Everyone Welcome!
Join your neighbors every Sunday for an exciting afternoon of bingo with real cash prizes! Doors open at 1 PM. Early Bird games begin at 2 PM, with regular games running 2:45-5:30 PM.
Just $24 covers most games, with special jackpot games available. Play in our comfortable, smoke-free bingo hall with snacks and drinks available for purchase. Fully accessible facility with indoor smoking lounge.

Friday Food
Every Friday at 5:30 pm
Wrap up your week with a tasty meal and good company. Each Friday features a different homemade favorite—like fried chicken, tacos, or meatloaf. Open to members and their guests. Check the calendar to see this week’s featured food!

Test your team’s knowledge in 5 rounds of 5 questions. Cash prizes for the top large group (6-10 people) and small group (5 or less) teams! $2/person.
Legion Cornhole
February 11th & 25th
Registration at 6 pm, with play starting at 6:30. Cost is $10/person.
